Tarun Mehrishi is the author of The Portrait of a Secret and Spectres of Vengeance, both published by Penguin Random House India.

A graduate of the National Law School in Bengaluru and the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, he has worked in corporate law and sports marketing. His fiction explores power, loyalty, and the personal cost of uncovering the truth. He writes expansive thrillers that stretch across geographies and time, with an ambition to bring Indian thriller fiction to readers around the world.

His debut, The Portrait of a Secret, was published in 2023. Its adaptation rights have been sold to Harinder Sikka.
